Are you ready for a permanent solution?
Electrolysis is the only FDA approved method for permanent hair removal.
What is electrolysis?
Electrolysis is the use of electrical current to permanently destroy the blood supply to a hair follicle with heat and/or chemical decomposition. A probe slightly smaller than the size of the hair is inserted into the follicle and a small amount current is applied, this destroys the blood supply to that hair and the germinating cells that can create new hairs.

Preparation for Treatment
In order to effectively treat the unwanted hairs they must be long enough to hold with tweezers. Please do not shave the area to be treated for 2-3 days prior to your appointment. Drink plenty of water, it will make the treatment more comfortable and effective. Avoid caffeine the day of your treatment if possible as it can make you more sensitive.

Aftercare
It is normal to have some mild redness and swelling after the treatment, it should go away in a few hours to a few days depending on the sensitivity of your skin. If desired an icepack may be applied to the area for a few minutes at a time to minimize swelling and redness. Avoid touching and applying makeup to the treated area and keep it clean and moisturized for 48 hours after your appointment. If a scab forms after your treatment do not remove it, this is the body’s way of healing itself. Stay hydrated and avoid the sun/use sunscreen at least 24 hours after to facilitate the healing of the skin. If desired a small amount of antibiotic ointment may be applied to treated area for 2-3 days.
